Sales Team Leader (m/w/d) Customer Service & Product Experts GAS-Analytics

Activities

  • In your role, you will act as a manager for three product line sales experts in AP2E and report to the managing director of AP2E as well as to the CSO of the DURAG GROUP in the matrix reporting line.
  • You are responsible for the correct order entry of the gas analytics product lines and act as the point of contact for our sales team, channel partners and global account management on all product and project-related questions.
  • You ensure that quotations are prepared with the right sales arguments, if necessary in consultation with the technical team from R&D, and take care of quotation follow-up as required.
  • You create monthly product line reports according to defined KPIs and support in the creation of market development plans (global + regional) for the gas analysis product line.
  • You ensure that the sales opportunity is qualified by reviewing technical information.
  • You are responsible for actively advising and supporting the global sales team and will actively participate in technical negotiations together with the sales department.
  • You conduct training for our sales team and our sales partners and take part in DURAG internal sales events, as well as trade fairs and conferences for further development.

Requirements

  • You have a university degree with dual expertise in sales and measurement technology, electrical engineering or a comparable field.
  • You have extensive experience in the field of measurement and analysis technology, in particular expertise in gas analysis is an advantage.
  • You have proven experience in technical sales, project management of technical systems in measurement technology and experience in Sales Contracts.
  • You have already gained leadership and change management experience in dealing with multicultural teams.
  • You are characterised by your analytical, goal- and solution-oriented approach and convince with strategic forward thinking.
  • You see yourself as a team player with a pragmatic hands-on mentality and, due to your intercultural competence, you have good communication skills with all stakeholders.
  • You are well versed in using the common Microsoft Office systems, have already worked with SAP CS CRM system, SAP S4Hana or R/3 Module SD and ideally already have experience with a ticket system, i.e. MATRIX 42 (in use in DURAG GROUP).
  • You have an excellent knowledge of written and spoken French and English and ideally other languages such as German.
  • You enjoy travelling internationally on business (approximately 30%) and have a driving licence class B.
