ProCeas from AP2E: Our contribution to CO2 purity measurement in the CCS chain

Hamburg, 13 December 2024 - A recent study published in ‘Nexus, Cell Partner Journal’ examines the central role of standardized measurement of CO₂ impurities in carbon capture and storage (CCS). The paper, entitled 'Toward standardized measurement of CO₂ transfer in the CCS chain', highlights the importance of controlling impurities in CO₂ streams to improve transport efficiency, storage safety and the long-term economics of CCS. The results illustrate why precision in trace gas analysis is so important – made possible using laser-infrared spectrometers from AP2E, a member of the DURAG GROUP.
