DURAG was founded in the year 1948 by the entrepreneur industrialist H. Wilhelm Schaumann. The company's objective is the development of environmental protection technology.
Since its founding, DURAG has been a wholly owned subsidiary of Union Agricole Holding AG, registered in Pinneberg near Hamburg, Germany. DURAG's product line has expanded to include optical equipment for the environmental protection industry, and electronics.

Hegwein GmbH

The Hegwein company was founded in 1948 by Georg Hegwein, and is located in Stuttgart, Germany. Hegwein is today a wholly owned subsidiary of DURAG Industrie Elektronik GmbH.
The company specializes in gas burners, pilot burners and control equipment. Over the past half-century, Hegwein products have proven themselves repeatedly to be the standard in durability and performance. Applications range from steel mills, to chemical, heat treatment and power plants. Verewa Umwelt- und Prozessmesstechnik GmbH

Verewa Environmental and Process Measurement Technology develops, produces and sells beta-gauge particulate monitors for ambient and emissions monitoring. Verewa also manufactures soot monitors and mercury analyzers for air emissions monitoring and water / waste water monitoring. Beta-gauge monitors are primarily used for particulate monitoring in applications with wet flue gases or process gases.
These systems are also employed in incineration applications using varying fuel types.
Verewa mercury analyzers can be installed for flue gas monitoring in waste incinerators, as well as for continuous mercury measurements in liquid media of all types.              

ORFEUS Combustion Engineering GmbH

ORFEUS GmbH develops and markets a leading method for controlling technical combustion systems. The ORFEUS system combines emissions spectroscopy with today’s most progressive video technology.
